09 Jan Opening @ The Office
I have to say I was surprised that we actually had people show up to the opening on Saturday night with all the rain and lots of other openings going on that night.
We surprisingly had a good crowd. Commie Girl was there with Suparna the Rocket Scientist and her very nice family. Paul Frank drew a crowd of course. I heard the show was mentioned on his site but I haven’t looked. Carrie Yury fresh off her gig singing for Mads Lynnerup’s Fashion Island band showed up. We had a group of collectors come up from Laguna that really dug Danielle Segura’s installation. It’s nice to see interest in work that is a bit more challenging.
Anyway, I’ve attached some photo’s. I’ll keep posting them with each opening. Next time I’ll actually take pictures of people. It’ll be just like Star Magazine.
