Saturday Night Live

Saturday Night Live

Mrs. OC Art Blog and I trekked on over to the Santa Ana Artists Village to catch the first Saturday openings. Fun was had by all. If you are in the area be sure to catch both the OCCCA show and the Mentor/Mentee show at Grand Central. Both are solid. I also ran over to SolArt Gallery for the first time. The vibe was good and I would have liked to stay longer for the music but Mrs. OC Art Blog needed to be fed before things went south. Some photo’s follow:

Snoccca First stop OCCCA.

Sncherylekstrom Work by Cheryl Ekstrom.

Sngrandcentral Next stop Grand Central Art Center.

In my defense, it was 10pm and he still hadn’t fed me!

    well,
the second picture (Cheryl Ekstrom?) reminds me a LOT of Louise Bourgeois… Is that a coincidence, reference, or sad occurence? And how does it handle the similarity (?) in real life?

I visited Louise Bourgeois at her home in New York twice last year and she said: “Hell no, mine is much better”
